April things I love…

Here in April the clocks have changed & day light saving brings darker, cooler evenings.

I have been enjoying lighting candles at dusk for instant cosiness.

I love having a mix of colours of these beautiful soy wax candles by Sydney based Black Blaze.

Lighting becomes even more important in the cooler months, the right lamps create a calm atmosphere,

I love London based Matilda Goad’s whimsical scalloped lamp shades.

Weekend baking is a favourite Autumn pursuit & I am keen to try my hand at making a delicious

Bundt cake with this tin,

Which really is pretty enough to have on display hanging on my kitchen wall!

Being busy in the kitchen has led me to rethinking our cleaning products & we are currently using

Koala Eco’s range of natural Australian essential oil based cleaners.

I am loving the fresh scent of their Peppermint & Rosalina products, their gift sets makes a lovely Mother’s day gift.

Another natural product range I am completely obsessed with (despite not being that into makeup!) is

Westman Atelier’s makeup range. I have sensitive skin & love that the sophisticated range

was created to avoid any nasty ingredients & calm the skin .

Made to be natural healthy makeup that doesn’t look like makeup on your skin - perfect &

well worth the luxury price tag.

I am always inspired by clever designers & Ikea is a favourite affordable go-to, their latest range has this beautiful vase for only $2 it is such a lovely vessel.

Another inspirational designer is Swedish, London based Interior designer Beata Heuman ,

I absolutely love her design philosophy that every room should sing & to always have an element of whimsy

& quirkiness in your home. Her beautiful book is on my wishlist this month.

Our pretty Liberty print cushions & napkins, such as our Poppy Forest cushion & Willowwood Midnight napkins

will add a sense of Autumnal whimsy to your home.
