Thank you for subscribing to this newsletter & following along, it is a busy & exciting time here at Clementine & Co as I am in the thick of planning a very pretty Christmas range … there is an exclusive sneak peek for you below!

There are a number of you that are new to Clementine & Co so I thought it would be a good idea to introduce myself a little & explain exactly what Clementine & Co is all about.

I live and work from our home in Cremorne in Sydney, with my husband Jon, our kids Oscar 15, Evie 13, Daisy 9, fur kids - Freddy a Springer Spaniel ( staring above!), Rosie a West Highland Terrier & Poppy a Ragdoll cat. I am a floral obsessive - always have flowers in the house, love visiting florists, adore all floral prints,& collecting vintage floral print fabrics & tableware.

As well as creating Clementine & Co I have been working as a freelance stylist for 20 years!

I studied fashion & textile design and then worked my way into styling for home & lifestyle magazines. I have styled shoots for Australia’s leading titles - Vogue Living, Donna Hay, Vogue Entertaining & Travel, Home Beautiful , Country Style & Gourmet Traveller. As well as styling shoots for cook books & for businesses such as Qantas,

It was while I was sourcing a round up of the loveliest napkins for a Gourmet Traveller magazine shoot - ,that I couldn’t really find the style of pretty floral print napkins I was looking for.

So I decided to create my own Liberty print floral napkins & in turn Clementine & Co was born.

I turned to the classic daintiness of British Liberty floral prints. Having grown up with Liberty fabrics in the 1970’s in London my mum made my sister & I cot sheets from Liberty florals. Then later as toddlers living in Sydney we wore little Liberty floral cotton summer dresses - which my daughter’s also wore - what a testament to the quality and timelessness of Liberty Tana Cotton lawn.

I launched Clementine & Co in December 2019 with a range of Liberty print napkin sets & cushions. The range was very popular, it seems so many of you are floral print & Liberty lovers too!

I have grown the range to include our very popular Liberty fabric covered notebooks, pouches, woven baskets & pillowcases.

Almost 4 years on, I still absolutely love creating Clementine & Co coming up with new ranges or products, always with the premise of creating unashamedly pretty floral print pieces to elevate the everyday

Clementine & Co designs all start with my beloved and ever evolving inspiration boards ( see a sneak peek of my current Christmas 2023 inspiration board below) . I gather everything that inspires me from images of flowers, snippets of fabrics, drawings and ribbons. I then send my design ideas, drawings and specifications to my lovely maker Michael and his team. They then create samples of my ideas, which are tweeked to perfection! before they go into production and are launched to you all. Opening a new Clementine & Co product sample is like Christmas day! there is nothing better than seeing my ideas come to life .

I love using Liberty’s beautiful fabrics in my designs. They are nostalgic, exquisite and endlessly inspiring. Designed by a talented team in London, then printed in Lake Como Italy on the softest, high quality cottons.

Clementine & Co products are designed to elevate your everyday. Adding a little floral prettiness & joy to your world, From a floral printed notebook for your daily shopping lists, to a beautiful soft cushion on your favourite armchair to enjoy with a good strong cup of tea & cake!

I use my Clementine & Co pieces every day ….

I love using our Clementine Marigold basket as my bag, there is room for my laptop, water bottle, notebook and a Wildflowers leaf cotton pouch to keep all of my handbag odds & ends - makeup etc. organised.

I always have a couple of our notebooks on the go - one by my bedside for nightly ideas & reflections.

One always on my desk and one in my basket, for my never ending to do lists, notes and goals.
