Clementine & Co January things I love…

Hello there

I hope you are enjoying a break & some sunny, languid

days at the beach this January ( despite La Niña! )

There is such a lovely slower pace to January, our days are focused on

family time. A holiday by the beach, with swimming, sand castles & ice creams

making childhood memories as the new year begins.

I've curated some of my beloved beach going essentials from our collection and other brands

I hope they can provide some summery beach going inspiration …

This year each newsletter’s ‘In Bloom’ section will explore inspiring floral places I have discovered around the world.

I am excited to add to my travel wish list & seeking out pretty floral interiors from far and wide.

I hope you enjoy January’s In Bloom exploring a very pretty cafe & jewel box of a bar in steamy Jaipur, India.

I would love to hear what you think & any beautiful floral inspired

destinations you have discovered

Xx Aimee

January’s ‘in bloom’ floral inspiration from

Cafe & Bar Palladio Jaipur, India.

It goes without saying that flowers have a huge significance in Indian culture. Their vivid hues; golden yellows, bright pinks & rich oranges are the colour palette of the nation.

Flowers are revered appearing in religious ceremonies, celebrations, interiors, textiles & art.

Marigolds are strung as sunshiny garland offerings, lotus, jasmine & roses are painted in rich hues on walls, tiles & intricate mandalas.

Jaipur’s inspiring Cafe Palladio and it’s sister Bar Palladio & deli by Dutch designer Marie-Anne Oudejans are adorned from floor to ceiling with beautiful blooms.

The cafe’s peach walls are traditionally painted with local birds, butterflies & flowers. Encased with trellis much like a victorian conservatory with a modern Indian twist.

The Bar Palladio is a rich all encompassing ode to blue & white. Blue & white flowers and foliage line the walls. How inspiring it would be to sip your gin & tonic in this Indian floral jewel box !
