Clementine & Co February things I love…
Hello there
I hope you are well & are enjoying February it really does feel like the ‘proper’ start of 2023 with school & work back in full swing. I don’t know about you but it has flown by hence this newsletter sent so late!
The busyness of February was punctuated by the frivolity of Valentine’s Day on the 14th. Whether you celebrate it or not (we dont!) it is so lovely to see an abundance of roses and flowers out and about. I always think of February as a month of roses. My own plants are slowly blooming as I a novice tend to them like a mother hen!
So this month I've curated some of my favourite rosy pieces from our new range and other special brands I hope they can provide some pretty inspiration …
This year each newsletter’s ‘In Bloom’ section will explore inspiring floral places I have discovered around the world. I am excited to add these to my travel wish list, seeking out pretty floral interiors from far and wide.
I hope you enjoy February’s In Bloom exploring the intriguing family run atelier of handmade silk flower makers ‘Legeron’ in Paris. I thought the city of love very fitting to feature in February!
I would love to hear what you think & any beautiful floral inspired destinations you have also discovered
Xx Aimee

February’s ‘in bloom’ floral inspiration from
Atelier Legeron, fleurs et plumes - Paris
Legeron, fleurs et plumes resides in Paris on Rue des Petits Champs. The specialty of this French atelier is the creation of flowers in silk, leather or feathers for bespoke couture designers such as Chanel, Dior, Lacroix and Saint Laurent. This multi-generational family business has been in existence since the 1860s when it was in the heart of the budding haute couture industry–a time when trimmings were an essential part of dressmaking. Today only a few flower and feather businesses exist, down from dozens. What a magical floral craft!
