Behind the scenes at Clementine & Co … creating our pretty pouches

I hope you are well I thought you may like to see behind the scenes here at Clementine & Co. so here is a little peek at the creation of our very popular cotton pouches.
I created our pouches to solve my handbag / basket storage dilemma, I love using my Clementine & Co basket it easily holds everything I could possibly lug about! from flowers, my laptop, to my kids water bottles & snacks. Although I was missing a little compartment with in it for my makeup & odds & ends.
So I designed our pretty frilled cotton pouches, in the perfect size to fit everything from your favourite lipstick to your mobile phone.
When designing prints for the pouches, the process always begins with my inspiration boards. I have designed 2 pretty prints WILDFLOWERS & ROSETTE printed on beautiful quality fine cotton made into our very popular pouches & napkin sets . Inspired by (as always!) my love of all things floral & nostalgic. From victorian pressed wildflowers to dainty vintage floral printed china.
Once I am happy with my designs I send the digital files to my lovely manufacturer Michael. Michael and his team organise the printing on our high quality soft cotton. Once the printed cotton is ready it is sent to Michael’s team of highly skilled makers. Who cut the fabric then, meticulously sew our little pouch design.
What’s inside my own Rosette Petal pouch!
My own Rosette Petal pouch contains all of my handbag essentials - perfume, handcream, headphones, mirror compact, lip balm, blush stick, bandaids ( just in case of child related woes!) & some Clementine & Co cards.
Our pretty cotton frilled pouches are the perfect mix of pretty & practical, with a zip top & cotton lining. They make a lovely clutch or jewellery pouch. Neatly fit all of your odds & ends - phone, keys. lipstick & perfume in your handbag $44.95 each
